Blonde Private Ch. 2

The way people tend to talk about being in college, you would never expect college to feel so homey and simple. On the outside, it looks like a place where possibilities are endless, friendships are made and relationships bud and last forever. On the inside, this is as much home as can be found anywhere else. To think my first instinct was to find a more single home environment. Luckily, my place is only single bed and has just enough room for me to do as I completely please. Certainly to practice my dream of becoming a detective.

The thing about being a detective is that it requires a whole lot of attention. Somehow, my mom had taught me about how to read little things as something important because they are a part of a much bigger picture or a much bigger cause. Details are everything. Information is everything. So, it is only right that one of the things I try to take is communications.

I'm surprised going downstairs that there aren't a whole lot of people at the door meeting and greeting each other, but I did manage to hit it off with a woman named Tiffany Angles. I approach her with the ease of any freshman, and hope that my stories of being near a beach does not bore her. When people think beach, they think possible valley or surfer girl. Ehh...they may be off. I cannot surf to save my life and I don't not live near the valley. Most days, I could barely just stand straight on land. She seems to not only have understood but thought I was okay. Well, it's time for me to rush over to the meet and greet.

Posters, students, teachers, oh my! Heh! Hopefully, I come here just in time to collect everything I need to know for Communications. Before putting this poster into my bag (because that's what you do sometimes with freebies. Get the most free stuff that you can!), I took a look at one of them and it is everything that I might need to know about Communications.

"All students in the Communications major receive a Mobile Radio Station when they enroll," it said. "It's a phenomenal tool for developing your skills and media presence outside the classroom, and most in-class activities will also make use of it. Carry the Mobile Radio at all times!"
Carry the Mobile Radio at all times!

Just imagine. My own makeshift radio station. Radio Blondie! Hehe! That's a silly name. Maybe I can use it as a way to help sell things? I don't know, but the idea of being apart of the media is as intriguing as it is a bit anxiety-inducing. Let me give it a try! (turns on satellite)

I began to interview a random stranger, and soon enough started having a whole lot of fun playing a VJ type. "Radio Blondie! This is Kate Jones and..." It's pretty freeing. (buzz) Yikes! And pretty, um, painful. But I may get used to this very thing.

So, what should I continue to report on first? The teachers? The place that I live? Why freshmen had decided to choose this very place? The moment I started to think about it, I had received a message regarding a party. So, I suppose my very first one will be there!

So far, there isn't a whole lot going on to really talk about outside of a local bonfire and some...mysterious smell emerging. The kids were just throwing random chemicals into the bonfire. Flames from a searing blue to a rancid green emerged from the fire, and on top of this, it is starting to hail.

(Fire Truck beeps) Well, the fire department showed up, but really the only flames there were to talk about was one that happened on the side of the house. I'm here hoping the food is going well because I am so hungry, I could throw a living creature on that bonfire and feed with the ease of a lion. A nice can of soda and some dinner, and...I start feeling fits of funniness. I don't know what it is causing it (the atmosphere or the way it smells), but I'm thinking that it is high time that I get home. To my warm, plum, purple bed. I have a long day ahead of me, and after all of that...partying, nothing will settle me more than time to snooze.
